Salina GiardinoMy name is Salina and I was born in Rochester, NY in 1985. My mom likes to tell people that I was born with a pencil in my hand! To be honest, it wasn't until I could actually hold a pencil that I started to draw! From that time on I had a pencil and paper or a sketchbook with me at all times. It was my form of a security blanket, being a sort of shy child. My experience came by trial and error always drawing and always designing my own little characters. My first real painting experience was when I was seven and had started taking private art lessons from a local artist. My teacher taught me the basics of art and color. I continued to take lessons until the age 11, then continued to learn on my own by reading books and drawing and painting as a hobby. I feel very blessed to have been given this talent as well as a love of art and beauty.

My first mural was commissioned by my local church at the age of 15. Painting this 72 foot long hallway in the children’s wing was a great learning experience.. I learned a lot that next year and a half as I painted that mural and continued into three of the Sunday school rooms. Ever since then I have been hired as a freelance artist painting various murals both residentially and commercially. I am currently attending a local college on a part time basis as I pursue an interest in graphic design. Art is my passion and I love designing and making customers happy with transforming a simple space into a place of beauty. I can't wait to get started on any project you might send my way!
